Ph.D. Studies at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology
- Ph.D studies take 4 years, in which the key activity is undertaking research, combined with appropriate training. Students must produce a thesis which makes an original contribution to knowledge, worthy publication in whole or in part in a learned journal. The program may include the equivalent of no less than 30 credits of research training. The Academic Board of the Faculty appoints an internal supervisor for student, who is chosen by the student before admission.
- Foreign students from non-EC countries must pay tuition fee, which is currently 10850,- PLN per semester or must obtain scholarship from the Ministry of Education.
- To gain admission an applicant must attain Master Degree awarded by an approved University in an appropriate subject. Admission may be subject to preliminary study, which may include assessment. In such cases, registration for a program leading to research degree will be subject to satisfactory completion of the preliminary study. The preliminary study may take no less than one year.
