Job offer as Designer (Engineer)

Entity: Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology - Warsaw

Position: Designer (Engineer)

Requirements:

1. BSc in mechanical engineering, power engineering (or related). Overall grade at the diploma at least “Good” (or equivalent).
2. Knowledge of CAD methods 2D and 3D (preferred Autodesk Inventor),
3. Knowledge of numerical methods in fluid dynamics or heat transfer (preferred AVL FIRE™ environment)
4. Personal skills: strong motivation for scientific work, creativity, responsibility, teamwork, communication skills, and willingness to learn,
5. Fluent English; knowledge of the Polish language will be an asset (declaration of starting the learning process as well).

Preferences (assets):

1. Knowledge of optical methods (including laser methods) in the research of the injection process,
2. Authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications (preferably indexed in Web of Science),
3. Participation in scientific conferences and seminars,
4. Experience in experimental work,
5. Knowledge of programming: Python, C, C# oraz Matlab.

Description of tasks:

1. Preparing and conducting the research in the area of:
   • determination of injectors’ characteristics
   • CFD simulations of exhaust systems
   • prototype testing at the flow rig
2. Publishing the results,
3. Participation in domestic or foreign scientific conferences,
4. Design and purchase of components for test stands and service parts
5. Preparation and maintenance of the research equipment,
